Site Manager - Site Management Experience with working knowledge of CDM - civils experience Electrical/Electronic background - initially based Bacton, Norfolk - initially 4 to 6 month contract plus but could run to 2 years - rate £280 - £300 per day
We are looking for a Site Manager with experience of a Site Management environment and CDM Management to oversee the installation and commissioning of a complex multi-discipline high technology computer based security system within contractual time-scales on an industrial utility site
Security systems background a benefit but not essential but eexperience of handling and managing sub-contractors, a working knowledge of CDM and Civils experience are defintite requirements
Candidates should preferably have qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Control and Instrumentation and/or have extensive relevant experience
Recognised Health & Safety Qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH) etc and a First Aid Certificate would be beneficial. Good written, oral and presentation skills and the ability to control a multi disciplined site team together with good negotiation skills are essential
The security system will consist of High Voltage PIDS fencing, IP access control, IP CCTV, intruder detection, SWA power cable installation, fibre optic cable installation & termination and building/civil works in connection.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
* Day to day client liaison.
* Control and supervision of the workforce (including multiple sub-contractors) in a Health & Safety critical environment.
* Planning and controlling the implementation of the works.
* Chairing weekly meetings with client, sun-contractors & workforce.
* Ensuring quality and environmental standards are maintained.
* Ensuring Health, Safety and Welfare standards are maintained
* Providing feedback to the Project Manager on the progress of the project.
Due to the nature of this position, additional hours may need to be worked to properly fulfil the requirements of the role
The initial contract is likely to be for 4 to 6 months but additional sites will be added which could extend the contract life greatly but in different locations
