* Critical position managing challenging & often complex product/system developments for clients in wide ranging market sectors. To meet the challenges of this exciting role you will be an experienced PROGRAMME MANAGER the following skills:
- Substantial industrial exp working in product/system design & development
- Proven track record managing large multi-disciplinary projects (mechanics, electronics, RF, analogue, SW)
- Understanding of product development process in relevant industry
- Exp in particular industry area, with interest in using management skills across a range of industries
- Exp managing products through to manufacture
- Excellent interpersonal/communication/presentation skills
- Project management exp underpinned by technical expertise in a relevant field
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage projects across a range of industry areas; typically multidisciplinary teams (incl hardware, software, digital signal processing, mechanics & production engineering)
* Manage projects through complete development lifecycle; Requirements definition to final delivery
* Proposal preparation; Select team; Negotiate with 3rd parties; Manage concept generation; Analyse System Architecture; Liaise across engineering disciplines & specify, implement & test designs
* Manage projects typically in c£100,000 to £3,000,000 requiring delivery to tight timescales/budgets, managing internal/external resources |
