On behalf of our client we are seeking to recruit a Project Manager for a Nuclear establishment in Suffolk. Essential the candidate is qualified with a NVQ Level 4 in Project Management or relevant discipline e.g engineering. Project delivery experience within a relevant environment. Experience of delivering projects in the highly regulated industry e.g nuclear or rail.
Experience of working in complex organisations( Matrix Management ) demonstrating influencing and organisation awareness skills.
Will be required to Prepare Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP) and obtain approval. Define L6 CWBS and further WBS for the project
Approve L3 and L4 Schedules and cost estimates
Capture and evaluate risks at all levels. Identify and Implement responses to risks.
Develop and approve draft Detailed Volume (DV)
Comply with charging procedures to ensure project commitment & ACWP reflect a true and fair view
Evaluate current schedule and cost variance and prepare corrective action plan
Review/ Forecast incidence BCWP forecast and EAC
Prepare Project Performance reports ensuring they are accurate and timely
Provision of relevant approved documentation at the start and finish of each gate phase.
Proactive loss control reporting and root cause analysis on all potential and actual losses to project processes
The post holder may be required to undertake emergency scheme duties
