Have you had experience in infrastructure planning working for a power utility company either in the UK or overseas? If you have and are looking for a new opportunity, then you might be interested in this role. You’ll carry out planning activities for electricity distribution networks up to 132kV, and will contribute to the infrastructure development plans. You’ll also develop and document regional strategies and prepare major project justifications. You’ll analyse network issues and performance problems. Network modelling, analysis and load flow are also an important part of the role. You’ll assist distribution planners and undertake post investment appraisals. You should be familiar with Engineering Recommendations such as P2/6, G59, G74, G75, G77, G78, P28 and P29. For this role it is important that you are in the UK and eligible to work here. |
