Our prestigous comapny within the fire prevention industry is looking for a Senior Project Engineer work on various projects Liasing with all the relevant departments to ensure that all the work is carried out and fulfils the technical,commercial and quality requirements of the contract.
Responsibilities :
To review the technical and commercial of project specifications with reference to the submitted quotation. To liase directly with the client (with Engineering group support) on all technical matters relating to the design packages.
Meet the agreed project dates
Meet the project margins,whilst achieving the customers satisfaction.
Harmonise the efforts of the team members to achieve efficient resource utilisation.
to understand and implent to company enviromental, quality & health and saftey polices, in particular those aspects relating to product design and realisation.
It would be of benefit , though not essential for the job holder to be very familiar with hydraulic design or control systems. He or she will be able to conduct or participate in meetings, both internal and external, be able to prepare technical or project files. To assist test/service/ comissioning efforts during the appropriate phases of the project. To assist project build by handling and responding to manufacturing queries and requests. raise purchase requisitions and maintain an accurate PO schedule. Review & report project status ; in terms of schedule, invoicing, costs expended and future expenditure.
The right candidate will be HND/HNC qualified within Engineering and have a degree within a Technical Field and have previous experience within proposal preparation, Hydraulic/ Pneumatic/electrical control systems. Offshore industry exeprience.
