Precision machinist
Able to complete a job from point of receiving a drawing to de-burring finished parts.
Work on one-off and small batch work.
Be competent machining complex parts.
Operate and set machines.
To have an extensive programming knowledge of one, preferably both, of the following systems:
Bridgeport - Heidenhain conversational
Haas tool room mill/lathe - Fanuc G codes system.
Use a manual lathe, universal mill and other standard workshop equipment.
Ability to produce a high standard of work with good productivity.
Able to read/work from engineering drawings.
Other skills such as use of surface grinder, welding and brazing would be useful but not essential.
