One of the UK’s leading food manufacturing companies have recently expanded their operation. They are part of Europe’s largest manufactures and processors of fresh produce with a number of plants throughout Europe.
They are now seeking to recruit an Engineering Team Leader to join their well established multi-skilled engineering team. Working on a night shift (4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts), you will be responsible to lead and control your engineering team in their duties. Liaising with the engineering manager to provide training, ensuring that your team are up to speed with all machinery on site and able to deal with any fault or breakdown that may occur. Implementing the planned maintenance plan and ensuring all works are carried out to the highest engineering standards. During the absence of the Engineering Manager; you would be required to cover the role of Duty Engineer, dealing with various site problems and decision making tasks.
Experience of working a similar position would be advantageous as would a qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
This position will offer successful candidates a salary up to £37,000 plus pension Scheme and life assurance.
