Building on our significant UK and worldwide success, we’re looking for a Reliability Engineer who can use their outstanding engineering skills to influence change from the inside out.
An integral part of our Maintenance Support team, you’ll be responsible for improving the reliability of our East Anglian fleet of rail on track machines – investigating root causes of failures and taking action to prevent reoccurrence. Sometimes that will mean carrying out feasibility studies and recommending process change or modifications; at other times you’ll be writing up reports and sharing information with the team.
Whatever you do, you’ll have complete autonomy to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines in an environment where every day is different. But you won’t be on your own. You’ll have the support of the Area Maintenance Manager and be in constant contact with our five other regional Reliability Engineers, talking on the phone and meeting up once a month to share your findings.
With a relevant academic qualification and experience in rail, aviation or another heavy engineering industry, you’ll have a good knowledge of predictive maintenance principles and FMECA. You’ll also need good fault finding and analytical skills, excellent technical writing ability and the willingness to take on some UK travel.
