As a Maintenance Manager you will be required to take overall responsibility for the provision of a high standard of maintenance to all tenants and to provide a measurement service for new properties.
You will be responsible for a team of Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance/Stock Assistant and a Gardener ensuring that Planned and Reactive maintenance tasks are undertaken rapidly and to a high standard and providing technical support where necessary.
To ensure you receive the best possible offer you should be able to demonstrate the following skills: · Some trade skills · Previous experience in a similar role · Sound Knowledge of building construction practices and methods · Sound knowledge of electrical installations · Sound knowledge of heating and plumbing installations · Awareness of current H&S practices and regulations · Computer literate and an understanding of MSOffice Suite · Able to communicate effectively at all levels · Understanding of stock control and cost control · Knowledge of Planned preventative maintenance scheduling · Able to manage their own workload and manage others effectively.
