Our client is one of the largest food manufacturers in the world, having over 100 years of experience in producing a variety of convenience foods in over 200 country’s. A recognized household brand with a famous saying and logo with and an ever increasing financial turn over.
Working a continental shift (4 on 4 off days and nights rotating 12 hour shifts) you will be responsible for the planned maintenance on a variety of machinery from chillers and refrigeration to packaging lines including bagging and cartoning machinery. You will also be responsible for all break downs having to respond quickly and efficiently to make sure production is kept at an ultimate high.
Experience of a similar industry and knowledge of PLC’s would be advantageous as would a qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
In return the company offer a salary of up to £33,000 plus 5 weeks holiday a year, paid overtime, subsidised canteen and a company pension scheme.
