A major player in the automotive industry with over 160,000 employees across 150 sites in 30 plus countries. Growing year on year and exceeding a turn over of $20 billion. They are now recruiting for an electrical maintenance engineer to join their multi-skilled team of engineers.
Working on nights (Sun-Thurs 10pm-6am), you will be responsible for the planned maintenance schedules together with a team of multi-skilled engineers to ensure that the production is constantly at its highest performance. Working on a number of PLC’s controls you will be required to modify and at times programme them to improve performance and enhance production.
Experience of programming and modifying PLC’s would be advantageous as would a qualification in electrical engineering and the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of measurement equipment, relays and proximity.
In return the company will offer a salary to £33,500 (Inc Shift Allowance) plus 25 days holiday a year and a final salary pension scheme. There is also so a subsidised staff restaurant, free eye tests and prescription safety glasses and work wear.
