SOFTWARE ENGINEER – UMTS PROTOCOLS

* Excellent position for a Software Engineer, involving development of core network UMTS protocols such as RANAP, RRC, RLC & MAC
* Hands-on design, code & test role using C/C++, working in a team of around 10 other software engineers in a highly competitive & fast-paced technology environment
* Applications are welcomed from experienced Software Engineers with:
- Significant exp developing protocol layers in C & C++
- Exp developing multi-threaded applications & UMTS (or similar) protocols such as RLC, MAC, RRC or RANAP
- Professional approach, focusin gon producing high quality SW
- Able to design/implement robust & maintainable SW
- C++ Boost & STL
- Developing in an environment using 1 or more of: Linux, GNU toolchain, Eclipse CDT & SVN
- Developing for a target running uClinux (or other flavour of embedded Linux) on a Blackfin processor
- Substantial exp working in a team to deliver software to demanding timescales
- Exp of Embedded C & C++; Design & development of telecommunications protocols; UMTS &/or GSMprotocols
