SOFTWARE ENGINEER / CAMBRIDGESHIRE / £NEG + EXCELLENT BENEFITS PACKAGE
An experienced SOFTWARE ENGINEER is sought for this key position, developing tools & additional debug/trace functionality. Example areas of work are:
- Maintaining/enhancing target software for demonstrations
- Enhancing real-time logging to local storage & over IP
- Writing/maintaining tools to parse trace files
- Using/enhancing a split-system configuration
The role is entirely hands-on design, code & test in C/C++ working in a team of around 10 other Software Engineers. To apply for this challenging role you must have experience/skills as follows:
* Development of multi-threaded, real-time software in C & C++
* Development of applications that communicate using TCP/UDP/IP
* Professional approach with a focus on producing high quality software
* Able to design/implement robust & maintainable software
* Take responsibility for entire feature from requirements capture to delivery in an environment that is relatively low on formal process
* C++ Boost & STL
* UMTS or other mobile telecommunications software development
* Developed in an environment using one or more of: Linux, GNU toolchain, Eclipse CDT & SVN
* Developed for target running uClinux (or other flavour of embedded Linux) on a Blackfin processor |
