INTEGRATION TEST MANAGER / CAMBRIDGESHIRE / £NEG
Excellent opportunity to join the leader in low-power Wi-Fi solutions. Our client's UK Design centre was founded by a group of highly experienced Wi-Fi experts with a 10 year track record of architecting & implementing embedded Wi-Fi technology. Currently the system architectures are developed in the UK & all driver & embedded software is written & integrated in the UK. An Integration Test Manager is sought to join the team. To apply for this challenging role you must possess:
* Significant experience in embedded system environment
* Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as IEEE802.3, TCP/IP & IEEE802.11
* Exp working with digital wireless systems
* Good diagnostic capabilities
* Good methodology for designing & documenting environment scenarios & recording results
In this key role, the INTEGRATION MANAGER will:
- Fully understand the wireless protocol/approach & understand the interactions between the Protocol & other wireless communications
- Define system scenarios that represent real life environments & re-create such environments for performance evaluation
- You must have a strong ability to diagnose performance issues & work with equipment to capture and/or recreate problem scenarios
- Eventually the scenarios created will be used for regression testing by an additional hire (Test Engineer) that will report to the Integration Manager |
