Our well-established client in Norfolk is looking to appoint a Town Planner at Senior level to help support in the development of their new business.
This is a very diverse role and could involve aspects of master planning, LDF, retail and commercial developments, infrastructure projects, energy and power, waste and minerals, economic development and urban regeneration, heritage and conservation.
Specific duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Development and delivery of projects
• Supervision of less experienced team members
• Attending client meetings
• Identifying / developing new business opportunities
You will have a degree or equivalent in Town Planning or other relevant subject, will have significant demonstrable experience in the industry and will be familiar with all aspects of town planning and in the development and delivery of projects.
Previous team leading experience and project management experience is also essential as is the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of staff and clients.
If you have an M.Sc or equivalent in Town Planning or other relevant subject, previous business development experience and cost control / numerical analysis (PLAXIS or FLAC) experience, you will be at an advantage.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £30 - 36,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
