Our client's Suffolk office has an exciting requirement for a Senior Pavement Engineer to lead a team of engineers and technicians, working on a good variety of pavement management projects.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will also become involved in condition surveys on highways, airports and ports, assist in the development of the group and provide innovative solutions.
Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline and with I.Eng or C.Eng status or equivalent, you will have solid related experience, which must include proven experience of most aspects of highway assessment and pavement management. You will also have a thorough understanding of DMRB standards and will be capable of managing a challenging workload subject to change at short notice.
An HNC, HND or equivalent qualified individual with exceptional experience will also be considered for this role.
If you have experience of highway condition surveys, experience within pavement management, knowledge of the financial management and control of projects, a good working knowledge of different contract types and procurement options AND / OR the ability to produce well presented and accurate reports, you will be at an advantage.
You will be a good communicator who is confident and who has proven interpersonal skills.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £30 - 36,000 p.a., together with a flexible benefits package.
