Due to the recent award of significant national and international projects, our client's Cambridgeshire office is seeking to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer.
You will work within multi-disciplinary teams, carrying out drainage master planning, highways design and related work under the guidance of an Associate Director as part of their large and established infrastructure planning practice.
With an interesting and varied workload, including schemes for developers and land owners, local authorities and Government organisations, as well as overseas clients, you will be expected to undertake pre-planning and design work on a range of large and small scale developments.
You will have a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering and will preferably have or be close to achieving Chartered status.
Experienced in highway layout design, junction capacity analysis, drainage and external works design, flood risk assessment and dealing with utilities, you will ideally have proficiency in AutoCAD, PDS AND / OR other 3D modelling software packages, technical design and report writing skills and will be confident at presentations.
You will be a team player who is numerate with excellent computer skills, including WinDes Microdrainage software and who is confident in dealing with clients, external consultants and statutory bodies.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £28 - 33,000 p.a., together with an array of benefits including contributory pension scheme, extensive training and development support.
