What is the Role?
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading management, engineering and development consultancies. Due to the ever-growing workload they are looking to recruit a Highways Design Engineer for the Cambridge branch. Your role will see you working as part of a team producing detailed drawings, specifications and contract documents in ECC format. You maybe asked to carry out site surveys and visit which may involve you working out of hours so flexibility is needed. You must be able to work to a strict deadline, as you shall be responsible for monitoring the progress of your designs against agreed time and to budget.
Who are the likely candidates?
· Chartered or near Chartership status
· Proficient with DMRB
· MX
· MicroDrainage and SUDS will be an advantage.
· AutoCAD
· Understanding of the Highways Agencies procurement processes.
