Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer

A leading edge geotechnical and environmental consultancy are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join an existing team in Cambridge.

Working as part of a project team, under the supervision of a Divisional Director, the successful candidate will have proven broad based experience in the geoenvironmental sector, including fieldwork, monitoring, project management, assessment/analysis and reporting. Candidates will need to display a proven ability in managing work as well as possessing excellent customer focus. All candidates will require good written and oral communication skills, an ability to work under their own initiative and as part of a project team, will be computer literate and hold a UK driving licence.

You are likely to be already employed by a leading specialist environmental consulting company and conversant with site work, risk assessment, scoping and pricing investigations, project management, developing remediation strategies and writing high quality interpretative reports.

You must demonstrate leadership, team working, good communication and client facing skills and a good understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.

You will ideally have an MSc or MEng qualification in Civil Engineering or Geosciences along with previous experience in a similar role or experience of working in contaminated land site investigation supervision and design. Chartered Geologist or Engineer status would be advantageous as would previous experience in the use of RBCA, CLEA and SNIFFER methodologies
