Our client is a World class environmental consultancy and they are currently looking for a Principal Ecology Consultant with a proven track record in the management of ecological surveys and assessment projects for the consulting industry. They have offices throughout the UK and have a massive international presence and employ over 10000 consultants worldwide. The main aspect of the role will see you take a lead role of the team of enthusiastic and professional ecologists. It is essential that the successful candidate has a proven track record with a minimum of 8 years experience within the ecology field. You should be experienced in applying ecological knowledge to a wide range of projects specifically in relation to protected species and in the design and implementation of mitigation plans for protected species. The role will require you to take a lead role in major projects and developing the capacity of the terrestrial ecology survey and assessment of protected species and to provide technical input into surveys and assessments.
