Development Manager - Renewable Energy

As part of a programme of diversification and development which builds on and extends a long established range of skills our client has successfully entered the renewable energy market with emphasis on the design and installation of renewable energy systems. To expand and consolidate efforts in this growing market they are keen to recruit a Development Manager to provide expertise and direction in this area.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the Company's existing interest in renewable energy and for promoting it to existing clients and creating new clients.
- Acting as the main point of contact with partners in the renewable energy field.
- Undertaking surveys of existing and new properties, both domestic and commercial, to design, specify and provide quotations for systems.
- Taking responsibility for developing new opportunities and resulting contracting in line with company objectives.
- Project managing system installations by working closely with allocated team members to ensure that work is completed to the company's high standards an in accordance with established procedures.
- Leading on development of new and potential renewable products and services.
Person Specification
. Experience in design, specification and implementation of renewable energy systems.
. Relevant qualifications/accreditations.
. Excellent interpersonal skills, including report writing and presentations.
. Project management experience.
. Some knowledge of the building industry, and its Health & Safety requirements.
You should be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a genuine interest in the renewables industry, who can work on their own initiative but also as part of a valued senior team.
