Role Overview: To manage and monitor projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Tendering for new work / new enquiries - Client liaison – determine client requirements; answer queries - Technical liaison with Clients / Consulting Engineers - Project management – consultancy and operational responsibility including invoicing - Report writing - Supervision and technical guidance of project and graduate engineers and field technicians - Managing the recruitment, performance, discipline, training and development of direct reports and conduct their appraisals in line with Company policies and procedures
Key Internal Relationships:
- Divisional Directors, Ground Engineering - Project & Graduate Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineers - Field Technicians - Laboratory staff - Administration team - Drilling Manager, Drillco
Key External Relationships:
- Clients / Consulting Engineers - Sub Contractors - Suppliers
Necessary Skills/Aptitude/Knowledge/Experience:
- PC literate – Intermediate - Proven industry experience - Interpretative report writing experience - Communication skills (written & oral) - Technical knowledge - Organisational skills
Qualifications:(necessary to do the job)
- Chartered Engineer / Geologist - Degree or equivalent experience – Earth Sciences
