Our client is one of the largest FMCG manufactures in the UK, employing over 7,000 staff across 21 processing facilities. Their site in East Anglia, are now recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
Working days (Monday - Friday and every other Saturday and Sunday) you will be responsible for the maintenance of all conveyers, packaging and bottling machinery on site. Working with a variety of PLC controlled systems (Siemens and Mitsubishi), responsible for fault finding as well as diagnostics on them you will have daily schedules for planned preventative maintenance whilst reacting quickly and efficiently to all breakdowns on machinery to minimize production downtime.
This position would ideally suit a Multi-skilled Engineer with an electrical bias, with experience within a FMCG environment. PLC knowledge would also be advantageous.
In return the company offers a salary up to £30,000, plus 25 days holiday per year (+stats), a contributory pension, bonus, subsidised canteen and staff sales.
