They currently have a vacancy in their River Engineering team who form part of the Water and Power Business Group and operate throughout the UK.
The consultancy operate key frameworks with the Environment Agency and British Waterways as well as private clients. The teams work on schemes providing flood defence, navigation, water resources, fisheries etc. and take projects from feasibility through design to construction management.

Candidates can expect to get a range of experience and opportunities which can lead to professional qualification.
The principal function of this position is to:

- Be part of a team developing and implementing solutions through capital works whilst taking full account of the value and impact – especially sustainability and the environment
- You will be given increasing responsibility commensurate with experience ranging from technical to managerial tasks.

The priorities of this role include:

- communication within the team and with clients and consultees
-  delivery of reports, calculations, drawings, contract documents etc
-  working with others – junior and senior – to deliver the solution
-  personal development consistent with achievement of objectives
- a high level of proactivity, flexibility and commitment.

The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge
·an awareness of the environment
·responsiveness
·ability to deliver to deadlines
·high level of communication skills
·an aptitude for Hydraulics and Structures.
