Our client, a world leader in the defence industry is currently looking for a Customer/Contractor Logistics Support Engineer (CLS) to join the Aerospace division working on the Watchkeeper project. Within the division the team provides complete system solutions for all types of fixed or rotary wing aircraft in the civil & military sectors. The primary purpose of the role is to support the Watchkeeper (WK) CLS Manager in establishing the WK Contractor Logistics Support requirements including; establishment of the WK Logistics supplier network & supporting the WK Prime Contractor Management Office (PMCO). Within the role you will establish the support contract, monitor & support the WK Supply Chain with the establishment of the in-service support activities, spares modelling, provision & maintenance of Technical Publications, undertake & maintain ranging & scaling of spares & undertake obsolescence management activities. The ideal candidate will have strong defence background, he/she will have experience of providing support infrastructure programmes, knowledge of the ILS/CLS process, knowledge of detailed document writing, tools & spares management experience & obsolescence management knowledge.
