Location: Teesside, ENGLAND
Salary / Hourly Rate: 48000 per annum
  • Develop and implement reliability programmes for each of the production plants
  • With the Maintenance Managers define preventative/predictive mntce regimes
  • Implement KPI’s to measure equipment reliability e.g. MTBF
  • Ensure equipment criticalities are defined and accurate
  • Conduct Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Define and lead improvement projects to meet agreed reliability goals
  • Carry out Root Cause Analysis on equipment failures
  • Assists in the selection and training of maintenance technicians

Analyses equipment maintenance histories, troubleshoots equipment problems and makes recommendations to operations and maintenance

Education/Experience

  • Qualified to Degree level or equivalent and a Chartered Mechanical Engineer
  • Minimum of 5years relevant experience in plant maintenance and/or operations
  • A strong knowledge of reliability techniques and the ability to apply appropriately.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering reliability engineering programmes
  • Chemical plant experience
  • Strong mechanical background with knowledge of rotating equipment
