International Consultancy requires a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER with HYDRO ELECTRIC experience to join them on a New Large Hydro Project on The NILE. This is a big project to generate 420 MW and will require the construction of an almost 4 km long dam structure crossing the River Nile. The spillway has been designed for a peak flow of 20,000 m³/s. Likely to take about 3 years! The Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the Contractor and Liasing between them and the Client.Checking Calculations, Planning Methods & Writing Reports etc.
Applicants need to be Western Degree Educated Structural Engineers with experience of dam or Power House Construction or other Mass Concrete Civil Structures. Calculations essential.
This is a long contract position as part of a small Team of Expats, based on Site with Accomodation, Food, Healthcare , transport provided.Regular Flights home and good remuneration.
